Shows, Registration & Awards

The 2016-2017 PCTPA show season will start on November 19th, 2016 and will have a total of 10 shows (including finals) and an August Fun Day. Shows will run on the second Saturday of every month unless otherwise advertised.

Registration for every show will be completed online for the 2016-2017 show season. Entries will always be due at 12 noon on the Friday prior to the show to allow show staff to organize the entries and produce the Draw category, as well as to determine the number of cattle required. No day-of entries in the draw class will be allowed, and day-of entries in the Open category will be subject to a $10 per person late fee (making it $35/person for that team). Registration cost for all teams is $25 per team. Each team shall receive 2 go-rounds. The time and cattle penned will be combined and the team with the highest number of cattle penned with the lowest time will be deemed the winner of that category.

The 2016-2017 Show Series will combine the best 5 shows of the season. The fastest team with the most cows will be recorded in the points database. Season end awards will be granted to the Male, Female and Youth High-Point Aggregate winner. Prizes will also be awarded for 2nd through 5th places in the High Point Award. Other awards such as the most improved rider, most improved horse, best club spirit, super volunteer, and most comical hat will be awarded at the year end awards potluck.
